The Jawaharlal Nehru University Students ‘ Union (JNUSU) told the administration to intervene on Monday, citing worries about the examination paper leak and mistakes in the response key to the internet entry test.
In its letter, JNUSU asserted that “BA first year cluster one of the Russian, French, and German examination papers circulating with whatsApp was the Question Paper that was published on the curriculum on 28 May.”
“More than 10 bugs had been identified in the BA cluster-two test response key. As many as five responses were incorrect on topics like chemistry and English. We ask the administration to look at the issues raised here immediately.”
The union requested also a revised response key. “Students had to face problems from the request to the online test at all phases of the admission examination process,” stated a declaration from JNUSU.The National Testing Agency (NTA) performed the entry test for the first time this year and met with powerful JNUSU protests.
“The Jawaharlal Nehru University time-tested, offline entrance scheme was an academically superior model with an appropriate array of subjective and objective issues intended to evaluate learners on multiple understanding, writing and analytical parameters. This is again demonstrated by a debacle in this year’s Jawaharlal Nehru University Access Examination (JNUEE),, “said N Sai Balaji, President of JNUSU.
Aejaz Ahmad Rather, General Secretary of the JNUSU, said, “The administration should take immediate steps to return to the previous format for JNUEE.
